Hello, I'm Angela Wack.
I’m running to bring a more collaborative, solutions-focused approach to education in Northampton.
I’m running to bring a more collaborative, solutions-focused approach to education in Northampton.
I'm the proud parent of three children, with one attending JFK Middle School, one at Northampton High, and my eldest wrapping up an associate's degree at Holyoke Community College.
Before I relocated to Northampton, Massachusetts, I spent years in Florida classrooms teaching third and fifth grade students, where I maintained my Professional Teaching Licenses in Elementary Education (K-5), Social Sciences (6-12), and ESOL.
For over a decade, I served on the board of one of the largest elementary schools in Gainesville, Florida, beginning as a volunteer before being elected Treasurer and then President. I currently serve on the NHS School Council.
We must celebrate our schools’ strengths while addressing real challenges through community coalition-building and smarter use of existing resources. I support research-based curriculum, data-driven instruction, and stronger district-wide coordination. I’ll fight for full funding—but we can’t let budget conversations overshadow the bigger goal: building equitable, high-quality schools for every student.
I am committed to building strong, successful, and equitable schools for every student in our community. With your support, I can ensure that every voice is heard and every child has access to the resources they need to thrive.
